We have an opportunity for a Contract Administrator and manage the procurement, administration and management of a number of  projects. The successful applicant will be responsible for :
• Preparation of scope of works for all trades
• Evaluation of received quotations for best value
• Negotiating and letting all contracts and orders in a timely fashion
• Monitoring and maintaining subcontract variations, claims, statutory requirements
• Submitting applications for progress payments, variations and extensions of time with the client
• Preparing construction programmes in consultation with site and senior management
• Preparing Site safety plans in consultation with site and senior management
• Preparing and reviewing cash flows
• Liaising with clients and their consultants
Based in  Riddells Creek head office, this role would be ideally suited to someone living in the north or western
suburbs of Melbourne or central Victoria.
Skills and experience
The successful applicant will ideally be able to demonstrate the following :
• Demonstrated commercial contract administration experience, particularly within the education sector
• Working knowledge of AS 4000 and AS 2124 contracts including amendments used in the sector
• Strong and well-articulated communication and negotiating skills
• Ability to interact across all levels of the industry equally with strong inter-personal skills.
• Attention to detail
• The discipline and ability to work alone
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, Microsoft Project and
ideally, iTwoCX and / or Procore
• Appropriate and revelevant tertiary qualifications
• Knowledge and understanding of current OHS requirements
