FINANCE OFFICER - CORPORATE
This is a great opportunity to join a high performing registered training organisation in a pivotal Executive team role. The organisation seeks to appoint a talented financial professional to lead a small head office finance team which continuously looks for opportunities to add value, enhance its service delivery and support the growth of the business.
Reporting to the Managing Director & CEO you will primarily lead, manage and develop a centralised finance team to ensure that it effectively supports the day to day running of the business. You will therefore have oversight of all financial operations including financial accounting, transaction processing, group management reporting & all statutory reporting and taxation compliance. You will have the opportunity to contribute as a “decision support partner” for a broad range of business-critical issues across financial reporting, process improvement and business performance reporting. You will be a focal subject matter expert for stakeholders throughout the group, using your financial subject expertise to add value to operational decisions & using your leadership and influencing skills to continuously improve financial processes, internal controls and business management systems.
This key role is likely to appeal to a qualified CA or CPA who is looking to significantly enhance their leadership skills in a dynamic, values-driven and professional workplace culture. You should have strong technical accounting training, gained in either a professional services or corporate environment. You should be a driven team player with a flair for identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and the kind of energy and d rive to be effective in a broadly mandated leadership role.
