About the role

Our client is looking for a highly committed and dedicated Office Manager to manage the finance, the office operations and support their team. This is a busy role and would suit you if you enjoy a friendly and fast paced environment.  You will need to have a strong work ethic and a 'whatever it takes to get the job done' attitude.

As one of the first points of contact of the company you will have great interpersonal skills and will be responsible for handling and managing all aspects of the company accounts, general administration and support duties to ensure efficient functioning of the office, HR management and marketing. 

Some of your key responsibilities

  • Daily interaction with all internal staff and external vendors;
  • Day to day office administration and management including supporting the Directors as required;
  • Email management and management of IT & phone systems;
  • Accounts administration & bookkeeping (AR,AP, GL, P&L, BAS, Payroll/PAYG);
  • Organise work authorisations;
  • Meeting management, including organising agendas & taking minutes;
  • Organise workshop consumables, PPE, stationery and supplies;
  • Create, update and implement company policies and procedures & ensure they are followed;

To Be Successful you will (ideally) possess the following skills and abilities

  • Exceptional written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficient in all aspects of MYOB AccountRight Premier including inventory or similar accounting software;
  • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy for accounts work;
  • Advanced MS Office Suite(Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel & Publisher);
  • Strong business acumen;
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle anything that comes your way;
  • Diploma in Business Administration (or equivalent);
  • 5+ years in an Office Manager role;
  • Experience managing a small team an advantage;
  • Strong organisation and time management skills;
  • Excellent problem solving skills and analytical mindset;
