This position is a Temporary short term assignment in Numurkah and will support our client’s production site by ensuring effective parts and materials procurement, inventory control and overall stores management.  Ensuring that inventory management is effective and optimized with procedures updated to create a best in class Engineering Stores environment.  In addition, you will perform a range of administrative duties to support the Engineering and Maintenance Team, ensuring the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) system (SAP) is utilized and maintained fully to gain all available benefits from such.

Ideally you will possess the following skills and abilities

  • Minimum of five years' experience in a stores and/or procurement specialist role (industrial or engineering environment preferred)
  • Knowledge of industrial consumables and/or a Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) sector
  • Demonstrated high-level experience in the use of SAP
  • Advanced computer skills particularly the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate with all levels within the business
  • Demonstrated commitment to effective customer service
  • Forklift Licence
