Description:
Reporting jointly to the Franchisee and General Manager we seek a suitably
qualified and significantly experienced Chief Financial Officer to ensure that
our client's company’s ongoing strategy and success employs robust operational,
budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes and delivers accurate and
comprehensive reports and analysis to internal and external stakeholders.

• Leading a small team of direct reports and ultimately responsible for
overseeing the general finance and administration, and information
system and technology functions, the role is accountable for directing and
controlling general accounting functions financial, management and cost
accounting, AP/AR/Payroll, and information systems and technology
• Leading and managing the financial controls of the business including
cash flow management, forecasting and budgeting
• Monitoring and maintaining risk and compliance, ensuring financial risks
are managed and cash flow strategies are in place
• Identifying and instigating system and process improvements to advance
the efficiency, effectiveness and integrity of financial systems
This is a critical executive leadership role inviting a high calibre individual who is
able to manage a hands-on approach to ensure finance activities are performed
in a timely and accurate manner, engaged in a dynamic environment whilst
having the disciplines and capabilities to develop and implement best in class
financial and holistic business strategy and direction.
The successful candidate will be tech savvy; confident and experienced
in engaging with executive management, with strong relationship building
interpersonal, communication skills and able to work with all levels of staff.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable competency in accounting,
tax, budgeting, margin-analysis and cash management, team mentorship
and ideally have had past experience in working for a large family owned
organisation.
A tertiary qualification in finance, commerce or a related discipline is mandatory
and ideally supported by a post-graduate qualification as CA or CPA.
