Fox Personnel have been engaged by a loyal client to recruit a talented and reliable Accounts and Administration Officer to support their finance and operations team in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
About The Role
- Position hours are Monday to Friday, four hours per day during training (approximately 4–6 weeks), progressing to full-time upon successful completion.
- Report to the Finance Manager and provide finance and administrative support across the business.
- Process supplier invoices in Xero, ensuring accurate coding, GST allocation and timely processing.
- Manage creditors and assist with payment preparation in line with trading terms.
- Assist with fortnightly payroll preparation, including checking payroll data and leave balances.
- Administer employee leave records and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained.
- Coordinate supplier credit applications and liaise with suppliers as required.
- Raise monthly invoices, including market/export and co-packing invoices as required.
About You
- Previous experience in an accounts and administration role.
- Experience using accounting systems, ideally Xero.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Confident communicator with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
