Fox Personnel are looking for 2 Casual Labourers/General Hands for Casual Work starting immediately in Bendigo. This is for 5 days a week for approximately 3-6 weeks – 7AM – 330PM

Our client is after reliable and hardworking individuals. The ideal candidates will assist in various tasks on worksites to ensure efficient project completion. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the industry and contribute to the success of our clients projects.

Responsibilities

• Site Works: Assist in preparing job sites by cleaning, clearing debris, and ensuring a safe working environment.
• Materials: Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment as needed from various locations i.e vehicles, site sheds
• Assistance to Site Manager and Trades: Support team and trades such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers by providing them with necessary tools and materials.
• Digging and Excavation: Perform digging and excavation tasks using shovels, picks, and other hand tools as required.
• Demolition Work: Assist in demolition activities by dismantling structures, removing debris, and disposing of materials safely.
• Concrete Mixing: Aid in the preparation of concrete mixes and assist in pouring and spreading concrete.
• Cleanup and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of the construction site by regularly removing debris and ensuring tools and equipment are stored properly.
• Safety: Adhere to all regulations to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) regularly.
• Stamina to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, bending, and kneeling.
• Comfort working at heights and in confined spaces.
