As the Finance/Administration Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial performance of our business. Working closely with the Managing Director, you’ll be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and contributing to strategic decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in setting budgets and profit margins
• Prepare end of month reports etc.
• Oversee the monthly financial outcomes and make necessary changes in quoting or work practices to ensure budgets are achieved
• Prepare monthly BAS reports
• Staff Payroll
• Review of monthly reports prepared by accounts officer
• Preparation of annual lodgements for various authorities including the state revenue office and workcover
• Prepare and pay monthly SGC payments for employee’s
• Assist in Contract Administration of projects under the supervision of a Senior Draftsperson
• Oversee and back up support to reception and accounts officer
• General office management

Key Requirements

• Accounting experience with MYOB
• Advanced Excel and Word program skills
• Ability to communicate with a wide range of clients
• Initiative and problem solving
• Ability to work autonomously, or as part of a team
• Great work ethic
