Our Clients are Meat Processors in the Echuca area and have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and experienced Meat Workers.

Our Client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Loadout Supervisor to join their team. The Shift Loadout Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the loading operations, ensuring efficient and timely loading of products for distribution. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of loadout personnel in maintaining proper cold chain procedures throughout the loading process.
  • Ensure proper loading procedures are followed to maintain product integrity, safety, and optimal temperature throughout transportation.
  • Implement and enforce strict adherence to FIFO (First-In-First-Out) practices for frozen inventory management.
  • Conduct regular temperature checks of products and loading areas to guarantee adherence to designated temperature ranges.
  • Verify product quantities and accuracy against shipping orders, ensuring proper stock rotation for frozen goods.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of all outgoing shipments, including temperature logs.
  • Conduct regular inspections of loading areas, equipment, and refrigeration units for safety, hygiene, and proper functionality.
  • Resolve any loading discrepancies promptly and efficiently, prioritizing the maintenance of cold chain integrity.
  • Maintain a positive and productive working environment, fostering a culture of safety and quality.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a temperature-controlled meat processing or similar fast-paced production environment.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HACCP principles related to temperature control and food safety.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize maintaining proper cold chain procedures.
