Reporting to the General Manager, this full-time role is based in Shepparton overseeing all aspects of procurement activities for our manufacturing operations. Leading a small team of purchasing, logistic and warehouse staff, you will play a critical role in optimising our supply chain processes and driving cost saving initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively lead and manage a small team.
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans.
- Deliver cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Monitor supplier performance, costs, and quality.
- Contract management and negotiation to secure advantageous terms.
- Manage CAPEX/Maintenance items.
Qualifications and Skills
- Technical expertise with ERP / MRP software programs.
- Exposure to working in a dynamic environment.
- Strong skills in contracting, negotiation and change management.
- Proficient in procurement management techniques and methodologies.
- Well-developed compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (i.e.QA, SOPs, OH&S).
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to drive team engagement.
- Focused and performance driven by results.
