Reporting to the General Manager, this full-time role is based in Shepparton overseeing all aspects of procurement activities for our manufacturing operations. Leading a small team of purchasing, logistic and warehouse staff, you will play a critical role in optimising our supply chain processes and driving cost saving initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively lead and manage a small team.
  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans.
  • Deliver cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Monitor supplier performance, costs, and quality. 
  • Contract management and negotiation to secure advantageous terms.
  • Manage CAPEX/Maintenance items.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Technical expertise with ERP / MRP software programs.
  • Exposure to working in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong skills in contracting, negotiation and change management.
  • Proficient in procurement management techniques and methodologies.
  • Well-developed compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (i.e.QA, SOPs, OH&S).
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to drive team engagement.
  • Focused and performance driven by results.
  • Commitment to quality and time management.
