Our client is currently seeking motivated and experienced Casual Labourers to join their dynamic team. If you’re someone who enjoys working outdoors, is physically fit, and takes pride in delivering excellent service, then we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with the loading, set up, and dismantling of both Aluminium and Kwikstage scaffolding under the supervision of a licensed scaffolder.
• Sort and store scaffold materials at the depot, ensuring everything is organised and easily accessible.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace, adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.
• Support the loading and unloading of Event Hire equipment, including marquees, furniture, and other event materials.
• Ensure all Event Hire canvas and equipment is cleaned and stored correctly after use.
• Provide excellent customer service, including reception duties, greeting clients, assisting with the loading and unloading of equipment, and maintaining accurate hire and return records using our computer system.
• Answer phone calls as needed and assist with customer queries.
• Ensure all returned equipment is checked for completeness, with all parts and components accounted for.
• Keep the depot organised and tidy, ensuring tools and equipment are easy to find.
• Assist with the delivery and pick-up of machinery and equipment using a company vehicle.
• Operate a forklift, where a valid and current licence is held.
• Support with the maintenance, cleaning, and delivery of portable toilets when required.
• Undertake other tasks as directed by the supervisor or management.
Required Qualifications:
• Construction Induction Card (Essential)
• Working at Heights certification (Essential)
• Manual car licence (Essential)
Desired Qualifications (Not Essential):
• Forklift Licence
• Truck Licence
• Elevated Work Platform (EWP) training/proof of competency
• Bobcat operation proof of competency
• Scaffold (SB) Licence
