Our client is on the lookout for a Village Manager to join their leading organization dedicated to providing high-quality living experiences for seniors in a vibrant and supportive retirement community. The Role:

As the Retirement Village Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the village, ensuring a safe, vibrant, and well-maintained environment for all residents. You will lead a dedicated team, manage daily operations, and build strong relationships with residents and their families, fostering a sense of community and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the village, ensuring high standards of service.
  • Provide leadership to staff, ensuring a motivated and engaged team.
  • Ensure the village complies with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Manage budgets, financials, and reporting to ensure profitability and cost efficiency.
  • Act as the main point of contact for residents, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Coordinate property maintenance and liaise with external contractors for ongoing improvements.

About You:

  • Proven experience in a management role, ideally within community living. (Preferred but not essential)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Excellent financial management skills with experience managing budgets.
  • A caring, empathetic nature with a genuine interest in enhancing the lives of retirees.
  • Tertiary Qualification (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of retirement village legislation and compliance (or the ability to quickly learn).
  • Ability to handle complex situations and make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Drivers Licence and First Aid Certificate (mandatory)
