FOX PERSONNEL is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper/Accountant for our client Shepparton.

You’ll be an integral member of the Finance Team, responsible for executing well-developed functional and technical accounting skills across the Group Financial Support Centre and Operational teams. Adopt ownership and accountability in relation to collating, developing, and generating timely, accurate and value-added analysis and reporting of the client’s financial and operating performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Key responsibility will be the development and preparation of quarterly restaurant operating forecasts. This will incorporate undertaking detailed variance analysis to strengthen the accuracy of the forecasting process.
• Variance analysis will include detailed reviews of Labour, Semi Variables and COS analysis.
• Perform sales channel analysis to review channel profitability, highlighting areas of opportunity.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting of operational systems
• The position will be instrumental in the annual restaurant budget creation process
• Assist in the preparation of Period-End reporting
• Broader responsibilities include:
Perform group level financial analytics
Updating of various management reports, spreadsheets and databases
Word processing, filing and other general office administration as required

The successful applicant will ideally have:

• Bachelor of Accounting, Commerce or Finance will be advantageous.
• Previous experience with multi entity accounting, Month end reporting processes will be advantageous.
• A positive and resilient approach, willingness to expand skillset on an ongoing basis, with the ability to pivot as corporate priorities change.
• High attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills for functioning as part of a team.
