This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional food, service, and team culture.

About the Role:

As the Bistro Manager, you’ll oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the bistro, ensuring efficient service, motivated staff, and consistently high standards across all operations. The venue operates six days a week for lunch and dinner, and you’ll play a key role in its ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate daily bistro operations to ensure seamless service
• Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house and kitchen teams
• Oversee rostering, ordering, and stock control
• Generating, coordinating, and managing functions and events
• Manage food and labour costs, ensuring efficiency and profitability
• Maintain outstanding customer service, presentation, and compliance standards
• Collaborate closely with the Head Chef to ensure quality and consistency in all offerings

About You:

You’ll bring strong operational knowledge, a people-first leadership style, and a passion for hospitality excellence.
You will need:

• Proven experience managing a busy bistro or restaurant
• Strong understanding of cost control, stock management, and budgeting
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Availability to work most nights and some weekends (offset with suitable days off)
• Passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience and leading by example
