Fox Personnel is looking for an Automotive Technician for one of Shepparton’s leading Motor Dealerships.

The primary focus of this role is to perform vehicle diagnosis, service and remedial works in a timely, cost effective and accurate manner.

Duties include –

* maintain a high level of knowledge about vehicles, products and the automotive industry

* perform quality control checks and sign off on works performed

*using the systems provided prepare quotes for service, maintenance and mechanical repairs and submitting these to the Workshop Manager/Service manager in a timely manner

* support , nurture and mentor fellow staff to ensure a positive team culture of job satisfaction and an enjoyable working environment

Qualifications

*Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, or equivalent, and sufficient workplace experience have deemed competent a Light Vehicle Technicians apprenticeship

*Current Victorian drivers licence and ability to drive a manual transmission

Experience

*Prior experience in automotive repair and diagnostic techniques is essential

*experience working efficiently and professionally in a team environment

*familiarity with basic computer systems would be an asset

A Police Check is required for this role.
